4P Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Software Manager

Role:

As a 4P CSP Software Manager for Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), you will be responsible for managing Lenovo’s subscription software sold in North America to exceed annual revenue and profit targets.

The 4P CSP Mangers leads and manages the CSP Offerings from the inception to the phase-out in order to create customer value and deliver measurable business benefits. This person collaborates with cross-functional teams (such as marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing) in order to build a product that fulfils an overall vision and to turn it into business success. The 4P software manager develops the product roadmap and is responsible for the entire value chain of a product throughout its lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop positioning and messaging to differentiate products in the market
  • Be an expert on the CSP market including who the buyer’s story (who, how, why)
  • Work closely with key leaders in the Lenovo sales organization enabling teams to identify and sell cloud subscription services to Lenovo’s direct customers.
  • Ensure that Lenovo’s sales teams are engaging with the partner’s sales teams in the field to win net-new subscription business for Lenovo.
  • Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
  • Create and manage programs to generate demand for CSP Software.  
  • Work closely with Lenovo’s CSP software partners in NA to secure funding for sales campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop the collateral and sales tools that support the selling process.
  • Maintain portfolio alignment to assist with sales team with a cohesive message.
  • Ownership of product catalog and product enablement in data systems to make products orderable.
  • Enable sales organizations to sell complex cloud subscription solutions into SMB and other Commercial accounts

You will be expected to be:

  • Driving strategy and portfolio from market and customer value
  • Engaging key stakeholders, such as software partners, resellers and direct sales teams.
  • Being enthusiastic about your own product line.
  • Having a profound understanding of the products' markets, customers and portfolio
  • Measuring the products' contribution on sales (top-line) and profits (bottom-line)
  • Fostering teamwork, leveraging best practices and sharing new experiences.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, 5+ years of experience working with software licenses and SaaS offerings.
  • Outstanding solutions-based sales skills and a passion for technology
  • Proficiency in managing the end-to-end offer development process
