Description and Requirements

1) Business Development and AMD Advocate at Lenovo.

Work in collaboration with sales/presales teams searching for new AMD technology deals. Solve technical and commercial issues to win in the market with AMD solutions for the data center.

This person will be considered an expert in the IT AMD-Lenovo solutions. He will be responsible to support the communication and positioning of the value proposition of these solutions through all the routes to market in Lenovo ISG (Infrastructure Solutions Group.)

Offer and differentiate the AMD solutions vs competitive alternatives through a solid technical knowledge of the Lenovo ISG AMD portfolio.

Support Proof of Concept (POC) initiative in key customers that needs demos to close key deals. The POCs will be executed by our pre-sales team.


2) Support for AMD – Lenovo Alliance Processes 

Support competitive analysis of AMD/Lenovo Products

Lead the Meetcomp (Discounts) process end to end, supporting the sales teams and giving visibility and prioritization to the alliance leaders

Follow up of the task defined at the weekly Alliance meeting as well as Win Plans for strategic accounts. .

Maintain historic sales of AMD/Lenovo alliance


Interactions:

- Internal: Sales, Pre Sales y LATAM Country Product Managers.

- External: Distributors and Reselles


Problem Resolution:

- Sales: Product Positioning vs competition.

- Channels: Identify opportunities and Customer needs.

- Support: Discount Processes follow up and Action Plans to grow the business.


Education:

- Systems Engineer or Electronic Engineer (completed or student)

- Experience: 1-2 IT experience
