Description and Requirements



We are seeking a Sr. Outsourcing Manager to join our global APOS team and lead our outsourcing strategy, partnership identification, and on-going management.  These teams will be integrated with the internal sales teams and motions to accelerate the services renewals and upsell business.  As a result, our ideal candidate will be able to balance long term views with short term achievements.  The leader will be required to develop the strategy, present it to executives and front-line teams, and then drive sales outcomes through an outsource partner.  The role requires deep business, sales, and operational knowledge to lead virtual teams at Lenovo and the partner.   


The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges, has experience in managing outsourced Sales teams (driving results and operational execution) and has an analytic background to assist the APOS Sales teams in meeting its business objectives. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias towards independent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment, will be able to manage through ambiguity and complexity, and constantly seek ways to invent and simplify business processes. Organization, strong judgment, and the ability to activate plans are all essential to success in this role.

This position will work with stakeholders supporting the extended APOS Services organization, such as Sales, Service Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Business Transformation, IT, and the Partner team. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies. Current and ongoing work spans the following areas:  Achieving revenue margin and efficiency targets, operational process improvements and coordination with operations teams, driving Indirect Specialist Teams, Channel Warranty Improvement via Vendors and End to End creation and growth of necessary APOS selling partnerships.


 You will have the following responsibilities: 

Outsourcing 

  • Help to develop Outsourcing Partnerships and stand up a sales team(s) with specific roles (queue, relationship, channel) 
  • Create on-going operational cadence & KPI’s 
  • Partner with geography hardware and services sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience

Manage (weekly, monthly, quarterly) performance outcomes  

  • Sales team KPI’s – opportunity coverage, call metrics, close rates, quality 
  • Inbound/outbound call forecasting & planning  
  • Sales insights and outcome management 
  • GTM programs for the outsource sales teams – Campaigns, upsell programs, etc. 
  • Proactively work with business leaders on outcomes and corrective action plans 

End-to-end process engagement 

  • Sales opportunity & quota alignment 
  • Facilitate sales and sales support requirements/hand-offs 
  • Drive sales productivity and efficiencies 
  • Provide inputs & requirements for sales tools enhancements 


Preferred Qualifications: 


  • 3+ years of sales and outsourcing experience 
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • Proven ability to stand up, manage and drive results with Outsourcing Partners
  • Project Management background
  • Proven ability to solve problems creatively 
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices 
  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful 
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline 

Base gross monthly salary starts from 1.700 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum - it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also a variable part (a bonus) in value of 12% of your annual earnings.
