Description and Requirements

Position Description: research and develop algorithms and systems for augmented reality solutions – to be used to reimagine the way people interact with the surrounding world and improve productivity in real-world commercial applications.
•Collaborate with other engineers and teams to deliver prototype and/or production solutions.
•Conceive proof-of-concept prototypes that establish overall system performance •Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of various deployed systems 

•Track latest advancements and maintain a current understanding of related research areas.

Position Requirements: •Masters or Ph. D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related programs.
•Expertise in one or more following areas: computer vision, image processing, computer graphics. 
•Hands-on experience and deep understanding in one or more of the following will be preferred: 
-3D computer vision: structure from motion (SfM), stereo vision, visual SLAM, Visual (Inertial) Odometry -Large-scale content-based image or video retrieval.
-Single or multi-target visual tracking.
•Track record of delivering solid technologies or products in above areas.
•Familiar with the 6dof tracking and sensor fusion algorithms.
•Hands-on experience with Matlab and the main Matlab computer vision algorithm.
•Hands-on experience with main stream open source SLAM solutions like ORB-SLAM will be preferred.
•Solid knowledge in fundamental algorithms and data structures.
•Programming proficiency in C++ with prototyping skills •Experience with CPU/GPU optimization on mobile or embedded devices, including code performance optimization.
•Passion for R&D and technical excellence, self-motivated, strong problem analysis and solving skills.
•Effective verbal and written communication to support rapid development across a geographically diverse team.
