Lenovo is looking for a passionate, and enthusiastic WW AR/VR Business Development Leader to support our AR/VR Business.


In this role, you will be the lead in terms of our sales motion in North America for our AR/VR Solution.  You will be focused on ensuring strong AR/VR adoption internally and externally.  You will also be a key piece of the customer satisfaction puzzle by voicing customer needs and influencing our AR/VR solutions portfolio.

This position is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated individual with strong sales, operational and strategic skills in emerging technologies  It will require a start-up mentality, and passionate perseverance to ensure an incubation offering is not only considered within the market, but is ultimately adopted.   


This is a remote position with the preference that the candidate live in the Eastern or Western Time Zones. 


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead NA AR/VR Sales strategy, maintaining revenue and profit responsibility for the solution across the Geography.
  • Build and develop pipeline across Commercial sales segments
  • Establish a Channel strategy, working with Distribution and Partners to bring a holistic and best in class solution to market
  • Support the WW AR/VR Business Development team that includes Business Development Managers, Solutions Architects and Customer Success Managers with prescriptive market feedback
  • Enhance Lenovo AR/VR Sales motion and support Lenovo sales transformation
  • Lead the NA AR/VR Sales BMS (Targets, pipeline, order status … )
  • Work across Lenovo’s matrixed organization to ensure proficient ecosystem awareness and onboarding (Finance, Legal, GSC, Sales operations, Account Teams ..)
  • Partner with the WW AR/VR Product team to ensure smooth and efficient NA sales enablement (Supply planning and management, System readiness, Channel activation, Training, Marketing campaign, Customer events ..)
  • Create the bonds between the different teams and manage key internal stakeholders expectations.
  • Lead NA Sales AR/VR executive reviews and interlocks.


Position Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of strategic sales and operational experience, preferably in highly matrixed structure

Along with the following skills:

  • Strong and successful customer facing experience and knowledgeable in sales process Leadership skills with ability to inspire others to achieve a common objective
  • Superior organizational skills and project/time management abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify value in an unstructured situation
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify and explain complex problems
  • Excellent execution skill and assertiveness to follow through end-to-end process of senior executive customer meetings.
  • The highest level of integrity and an unwavering sense of what is best for the business
  • Executive presentations experience in the AR/VR space an advantage. Able to travel up to 50% of the time
