Description and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record selling into large US retailers and will possess both a hunter mentality and cross functional mindset.

Main Focus Areas:

  • Create irreplaceable customer relationships while uncovering opportunities for Lenovo to gain market share within given territory.
  • Expand Lenovo’s product portfolio, sales and footprint within specified Retail, Etail and Club channels.
  • Define & communicate specific product needs for Retail partners to the internal Lenovo Product Management and Business Management teams.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of regional retail market data and PC insights to further identify areas of hyper-growth.
  • With a cross functional mindset, work with product management and sales operations teams to define and execute the Lenovo Strategy.


  • Develop the sales strategy and set aggressive goals to ensure hyper-growth within account base
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and profitability objectives.
  • Work to secure incremental placements during key cycle reviews.
  • Effectively manage retail marketing, promotional and advertising by working directly with Alliance partners
  • Build complex sales strategy to ensure goals, objectives and quotas are met.
  • Influence Alliance partners to ensure Lenovo is well positioned against our competitors.
  • Analyze and develop retail sales objectives by product category for specified accounts.
  • CPFR - Drive & outline forecasts from each account while managing retail inventory and product life cycles.
  • Understand and anticipate market trends and competitive landscapes.

Position Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 7+ years of successful technology/PC/hardware sales into US Retailers is required
  • Previous e-commerce sales strategies are a must
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements.
  • Clear understanding of NA PC Marketplace including the retail and competitor’s landscape.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, focusing on Excel and Power Point
