Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking an experienced Alliance Partner Marketing Manager to help develop and execute a partner go-to-market strategy with identified partners. The Alliance Director will collaborate with senior leaders from Lenovo and strategic alliance partners to identify and build joint solution collaboration initiatives, the accompanying marketing tactics, strategic marketing investment plans, and regular cadences with the Executive, Product and Sales Teams. The Alliance Partner Marketing Manager will be responsible to build Alliance plans that grow revenue and industry mindshare/awareness. Additionally, the Alliance Director will be responsible for assisting teams in developing marketing plans and enablement materials. The ideal candidate will possess a unique business and partner development background that enables them to engage at Executive levels. A background in with a diverse team from different Geo locations and Partner Product Groups is a must. He/she should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about go-to-market, and solution collaboration, and be able to articulate and convey compelling partner value propositions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage Lenovo's relationship with Strategic Alliance Partners on a global level

• Expand business opportunities and revenue at the edge, core data center, and cloud

• Build business plans collaboratively with Lenovo field sales teams and work with cross-functional teams internally (Sales, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Product, etc.) to achieve those objectives

• Build out 12-18 month partner development plan(s), identifying both Alliance Strategy and Execution objectives, tactics, and measurements

• Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes, and report on key metrics and successes

• Act as a point of escalation on complex issues and provide appropriate support to internal team members

• Communicate partner programs and processes to internal departments

• Manage MDF strategy, allocation, and objectives

• Facilitate Internal and External EBRs, QBRs, and Executive cadence/touchpoints

Basic Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field

•5-7 years of B2B Marketing experience for an IT and/or technology company; relevant experience working with, supporting, marketing to, or communicating with, customers in the segment.

Preferred Requirements:

•Demonstrated ability to think creatively

•Extensive experience building integrated go-to-market strategies and marketing campaigns

•Experience executing key go-to-market field tactics such as customer events, sales enablement creation, channel co-marketing programs, promotions, etc.

•Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail

•Previous budget management experience required

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with both internal and external customers and partners

•Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time

•Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
