Overview of role:

This role supports the Lenovo UKI Marketing team in the end-to-end management of Alliance marketing plan approvals. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating alliance marketing plan submissions, approvals, budgeting and extensive document management, as well as supporting hospitality bookings and event delivery. The role also includes data analysis and reporting, to inform and support integrated communication planners, working closely with EMEA stakeholders.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence working across multiple teams and external partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the submission, tracking and approval of Alliance marketing plans in line with Lenovo and partner processes
  • Coordinate inputs from internal marketing team and Alliance partners to ensure accurate and timely submissions
  • Maintain clear documentation and status reporting on all Alliance marketing plans, including analysis & insights on spend
  • Support the management of Alliance marketing budgets and track activity spend  
  • Ensure compliance with Lenovo financial and governance processes
  • Work closely with EMEA Marketing Ops (finance team) to reconcile budgets and PO requests
  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for Alliance partners, agencies and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure alliance and internal meeting activities are well-organised, documented, and supported
  • Support the planning and execution of hospitality events across One Lenovo
  • Support the delivery of partner, customer, internal offsites and industry events (both in-person and virtual)
  • Produce reports, insights and recommendations to inform future marketing activity

What are the requirements?:

  • 1 year of experience in marketing operations, alliance/partner marketing, or a similar coordination role
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Experience working with budgets, approvals and governance processes
  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, marketing, events, or support role
  • Experience working in an IT, technology, or B2B environment
  • Advanced Excel level
