Description and Requirements

The candidate will join a team of audio SME engineers to research, develop, integrate, and optimize voice and music audio enhancement technology, Always On Voice Recognition and multimedia audio technologies that are needed for Motorola products. Candidate will integrate and optimize audio technology onto Motorola products and HW/SW platforms and deliver high quality consumer audio experiences. His/her responsibilities include analyzing, prototyping, and tuning new voice processing algorithms (Echo control / Microphone Noise reduction), integrating, testing and debugging audio algorithm performance. Candidate ideally would have experience integrating, writing, modifying, and HW optimizing DSP/ARM algorithms for audio applications in any of the following areas: non-linear audio processing, musical instruments, MIDI, Pro Audio, and non-linear audio enhancements and audio/speech encoding/decoding techniques. Passion for music, recording, and composing and ability to play a musical instrument is a plus along with a Major or Minor in music theory.
