Description and Requirements



In this position, you will:

  • Design, create, execute, monitor, and update test scenarios based on defined acceptance criteria
  • Document, investigate, troubleshoot, and report the uncovered software defects
  • Find issues early in the development cycle to prevent late changes in the code
  • Design, develop and execute automated test-cases as per project needs
  • Attend the scrum events within the team

Required skill and experience:

  • 2-3 years of testing-related experience (integration, end-to-end, exploratory, usability, user acceptance, GUI, API/REST, functional, regression, migration, smoke, system integration, frontend, backend, performance, scalability, automation testing skills are a big plus)
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving mindset; ability to systematically and effectively break down problems to identify root failures
  • A quality mindset where mistakes and failure are viewed as opportunities to learn and improve and close gaps
  • Able and comfortable with working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong teamwork is essential.
  • Good understanding of the lifecycle of a software development project  
  • BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Excellent written and oral English communications are required

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in Automation testing (ie. Cypress, Katalon, Selenium Web Driver,)
  • Familiar with Bugzilla and/or JIRA
  • Prior experience in database testing (ie. SQL queries on Mongo DB)
  • Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes

You will be reporting to the local Software Development Manager.
