Description and Requirements

Lenovo’s Executive Briefing Center (EBC) is looking to hire a visionary Briefing Specialist for the Morrisville Center with a strategic mindset and customer centric approach. The Briefing Specialist will:
  • Regularly communicate Customer Center value, contributions, and success rates to educate executives, sales leaders, and sellers on opportunities available for their customers and partners via participation in team, staff, and cross segment calls as well as face to face presentations and written content for internal tools.
  • Strategically represent the North America Intelligent Device Group’s (IDG) interests in design and construction of new areas of the Executive Briefing Center, while collaborating with Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) counterparts to truly demonstrate a One Lenovo mindset.
  • Plan and execute customer/partner briefings including agenda development, scheduling, speaker availability, speaker prep calls, as well as other logistical details to include day of support for a seamless, exceptional customer experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience virtually, in-person or in a hybrid briefing environment.
  • Collaborate with sales-facing teams, such as the Ambassadors, to create briefing topics to ensure the EBC is aware of top-of-mind subjects for customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a balanced budget for the center to report on expenses and return on investment
  • Regularly interlock with North America and global product, services, and software teams as well as ISG teams to keep current on briefing topics, trends, new customer areas of interest to update and evolve the briefing program
  • Act as valued advisor to sales teams by keeping up to date on all industry roadmaps and company strategic priorities to provide briefing agenda guidance
  • Responsible for all product ordering and maintenance of assets for product showcase, loaner pool, and event activities, alongside EBC counterparts
  • Maintain all team International Organization for Standardization (ISO) documents, ensure asset audit compliance, and other operational directives as necessary
  • Scrap all assets, including products on display for demos in the EBC or in the loaner pool, in a timely manner via approved process to keep costs in line
  • Work with NA Experiential Engagement Manager and CFO on major product orders to support the business as needed
  • Oversee the loaner pool process including website and access, maintaining current products, track inventory, replace assets as necessary including non-product items. Ensure pool supports all NA marketing activities in timely manner while working to save costs
  • Help refine operating processes, procedures, and program elements for EBC to include tools, staffing, roles + responsibilities, budgets, and operational efficiencies, particularly as we return to in-person activities
  • With the support of the Center co-manager and ISG Center team, address necessary repairs, maintenance, and upkeep Center including AV, etc.
  • Support segment marketing programs that involve Customer Center activities, staff, products
  • Train new team members, staff and interns as needed
  • Develop and maintain briefing-related web presence.
  • Special projects as needed by manage and/or head of communications 


Position Requirements: 
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal;
  • Organizational and project management skills with impeccable attention to detail;
  • Flexibility, quick thinking, and on the spot problem solving skills;
  • Energetic and outgoing personality;
  • Ability to work across company and product lines to develop strong relationships with all levels of employees;
  • Technical knowledge preferred and technical industry experience a must;
  • Microsoft Office 365 skills including Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required
  • Knowledge of conferencing and collaboration tools including Teams, GoToWebinar and Zoom required
  • Previous briefing experience preferred
