Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager for the education business to develop a stable ecosystem in Benelux. You will be responsible to develop the business with key retail, e-tail & commercial resellers but also develop market verticals. Interfacing with Product Operations, Product Management and the Marketing team you will prepare the sales plans and manage go-to-market strategy. This makes you a crucial and visible team member across the board!

Your detailed responsibilities are: 
•Manage relationships with senior level decision makers, technical personnel and advancing in Mission outcome-based discussion/objectives
•Provide insight and thought leadership to customers concerning applicability of highly complex products and services.
•Act as a technical resource for the sales organization to help meet and exceed their objectives.
•Proactively solves customer Mission problems by leveraging deep industry trends and knowledge across Education solution, security, services and software.
•Drive Intel/AMD Pro version adoption across all Lenovo EDU accounts via education, POC and evangelizing the Intel/AMD Value Proposition across both notebook, desktop and workstation platforms
•Manages the relationship with high-level POC and relationship building within a  targeted set of EDU accounts to ensure opportunities are identified and closed
•Drive Line of business conversion across top EDU accounts to ensure gains on share of wallet spending
•Assigned an overlay or shared quota; deployed against qualified opportunities; refers leads beyond the scope of this job to other sellers within the organization.
•Responsible for Commercial segments in their assigned patch.
•Key focus is Top 20 Retention, acquisition & Development accounts
•Sells to CEO, CIO, CTO, etc and may sell to  purchasing groups or other decision-making  authorities
•Provides insight and thought leadership to  customers/sales concerning applicability of highly  complex products and solutions
•Multiple IDG products and solutions

Job requirements
•Advanced level professional, complete  understanding of Lenovo & competitors' hardware and  warranty portfolio
•5+ years of relevant experience
•Serves as lead to other product specialists  or cross functional technical groups
