Key Responsibilities


French/English Speaking Required

Contract Management (Cradle-to-Grave)

  • Lead and oversee the full contract lifecycle across all Canadian provinces, including:
    • Intake, assessment, and contract strategy development
    • Drafting, redlining, and negotiation of contracts
    • Risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
    • Alignment with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders
    • Contract execution, documentation, and record management
    • Post-award administration, amendments, renewals, and closeout
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable provincial laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for proposal and contractual matters
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of contract processes, templates, and tools
  • Develop and implement Canada-specific supplemental processes and procedures to address provincial legal and regulatory requirements, where gaps exist
    • Evaluate and streamline processes to avoid duplication, fragmentation, or unnecessary regional deviation

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a small but expanding team of contracts and proposal professionals
  • Set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans for team members in line with Geo Specific KPI’s
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture
  • Provide coaching on contract strategy, negotiation, compliance, and stakeholder management
  • Support resource planning and scaling of the team in line with business growth

Proposal Support (Overflow / Strategic Contribution)

  • Provide hands-on support for proposal development during peak periods or resource gaps
  • Review and contribute to proposal content to ensure alignment with contractual and compliance requirements
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and competitive submissions

Stakeholder & Portfolio Management

  • Act as a strategic partner to sales, legal, finance, and regional teams
  • Manage a portfolio of contracts and proposals, balancing priorities and deadlines across provinces
  • Communicate risks, timelines, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders
  • Navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements while maintaining delivery quality and compliance

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, legal, and organizational compliance standards
  • Maintain strong knowledge of provincial contractual laws and regulations across Canada
  • Implement best practices in audit readiness, documentation, and governance
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process or policy improvements

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial negotiations, or related roles.
  • French/English written and oral

Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management systems.
  • Advanced degree (JD, MBA) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in technology or IT services industry.
  • Familiarity with RFP/RFQ processes and complex pricing structures.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
“The base salary range budgeted for this position is CAD $120,000 – $135,000 (annually). Individuals may also be considered for bonuses. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com”
