Change Management Lead Role

Position summary

The Change Management Communications Lead will play a key role in ensuring the Innovation and Change Management team meets its project objectives by creating and executing change management plans that maximize employee readiness and adoption and minimize resistance. This leader will collaborate with internal and external project leads to drive higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees, thus increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of project results and outcomes.

The Change Management Lead responsibilities will include:


• Update and maintain the Stakeholder Analysis relevant to the functions impacted by the projects and developing deep understanding of their considerations

• Build relationships and work with key stakeholders to develop central and assist with Geo-specific plans if necessary, in support of the program Change Management Strategy and Plan

Communication & Engagement

• Tailor program communication materials to maximize relevancy and effectiveness with local audiences

• Assist in the coordination of Geo and local change activities (engagement events, workshops) as necessary

• Own & manage Change Agent Network to drive program communications, issue discussion, and to provide feedback across initiatives

Impact Management & Readiness

• Work with functional and local leaders to identify change impacts specific to their areas

• Facilitate the measurement of change readiness

• Develop, prioritize and lead the execution of action plans required to mitigate impacts and readiness gaps


• Provide input to training needs assessments from each initiatives

• Coordinate training plan across different team depending on the project

• Manage training content localization as necessary

• Assist in the organization and execution of specific train-the-trainer and instructor-led training sessions

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications:
* 5 to 7 years of work experience in industry
* Bachelor’s degree
* Prior project experience with change management activities & assessment execution
* Strong communication and executive presentation skills
* Experience in training coordination (ie. logistics cross time zone as needed, survey development and assessment, reporting)
* Resourceful with excellent problem-solving skills. Root cause analysis experience (5 why’s or similar) and identify action plans.
* Highly proactive and independent, with strategic sense to identify, anticipate and mitigate risks and issues
* An open mind, able to manage details but also see the big picture
* Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in the following areas:

o Culture change

o Learning and development

o Leadership development

o Organization / operating model design

o Change strategy and journey management

o Organizational change capability building

· Experience with the design and application of organization interventions

· Experience facilitating large group workshops

· Experience applying recognized organization change management methodology in a complex organization

• Global / Multi-national experience

• Master’s degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or other related field

• Strong subject matter knowledge in areas of change management and organizational development (systems thinking, assessment analysis)

• Grow@Lenovo or other Learning Management System (LMS) experience (ie. webbased content development, hosting, certification)
