Description and Requirements

As Channel Sales Manager (m/f/d) you functionally lead a sales force of approximately 7-9 channel sales representatives. Together with your team you identify potential, build and drive action plans how to successfully develop your territories in northern and east Germany in terms of the full Lenovo product, services and solutions portfolio. You hold accountability for achieving financial targets, increasing the market share in the market and ensures performance metrics are met in daily execution and will report to our Channel Sales Director.

We are looking for a highly dynamic individual with strong relationship and communication skills. You will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies for a successful business with Lenovo's managed resellers in Germany. In addition to people management responsibilities, you will have responsibility for your department’s resources, short-term planning, and budget. The position includes:

  • conducting deep analysis in identifying complex problems: generate and coordinate solutions with other functions or team members to solve complex problems
  • people management responsibilities, including KPI/objective setting, coaching, performance feedback & assessment
  • close cooperation with EMEA & regional management team
  • highly efficient Networking Skills
  • managing external stakeholders

Position Requirements:              

The successful candidate will have 5-7 years proven track record in strategic selling, interpersonal and communication skills, leadership and the entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate and approachable. This includes:

  • ability to inspire, manage and coach people
  • adapt communication and approach to drive negotiations with various partners to conclusion, resulting in common agreements. Maintain and cultivate senior executive relationships
  • Minimum 3-5 years channel experience, ideally proven established network within the business partner landscape in the Northern part of Germany
  • demonstrate expertise in building customers relationships, which promote and enable a deep understanding the Reseller business goals and objectives
  • You are a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English language.
  • This position can either be covered from Northern Germany e.g. Homeoffice in Hamburg/Hannover; Eastern Germany e.g. Homeoffice in Berlin or a location close to our Essen Office.
