Description and Requirements

The General Manager over Lenovo’s commercial cloud-connected business will be responsible for driving Lenovo’s current commercial cloud-connected initiatives and identifying new opportunities that align with Lenovo’s commercial strategic growth goals. The GM will work across Lenovo groups and strategic partners to define and implement initiatives that support IDG/commercial segment and Lenovo corporate strategies and growth goals. Additionally, this role is responsible for initiatives that support and achieve customer satisfaction, business, and financial growth targets.

Responsibilities include:

* Define Lenovo’s commercial cloud-connected strategy to include current solutions portfolio (VDI, thin client, Chromebook, WVD, etc.), future cloud-connected device strategy, and the software and services strategy to deliver customer value around the hardware.
* Identify new and collaborate with current strategic partners (Google, Microsoft, VXL, …) to develop portfolio, business, business model, and GTM plans that support Lenovo’s cloud-connected strategy and business goals.
* Collaborate with key stake holders (Partners, Segments, Research, Strategy, etc.) to define the global cloud-connected portfolio of hardware, software, and services.
* Work across Lenovo business lines/groups (IDG, ISG, SSG) to define and implement cloud-connected initiatives that support Lenovo’s corporate goals and One Lenovo strategy.
* Work across Lenovo’s region teams to establish business cases and financial targets.
* Regular reporting to senior executive team on strategy, execution, and business performance.

Position Qualifications

* 8-10 years’ experience in either Cloud, Cloud Computing or the Cloud Connected space.
* Strong virtual team and extensive cross-group coordination/collaboration and partnership skills.
* Detail-oriented with organizational, and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with peers, management, executives, and other functional groups.
* Superior communication skills - oral, written and presentation skills with all levels of peers, management, and executives.
* Self-motivated with drive, enthusiasm, and commitment with the ability to work proactively.
* Strategic, critical thinker capable of presenting clear/concise data from multiple sources accompanied with presentation skills, analytical and business competencies.
* Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
