Lenovo is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Marketing Assistant to play a critical role in supporting the SMB/Channel Marketing Manager. This exciting role exists for a creative, innovative and enthusiastic person, who is looking for a role to develop their career. The successful candidate will have an integral role to play in the marketing team. You will create, implement and report on marketing campaigns that maximise lead generation.


An integral part of a fast moving and innovative marketing team, where assisting team members and sharing information are inherent in daily activities your eagerness to grow, organisational capability and attention to detail will be key success factors.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordination of localisation of Global and AP assets
  • Diverse campaign planning and coordination
  • Advertising and promotion execution
  • Development of online and offline marketing materials
  • Internal and external stakeholder management including external agencies
  • Planning and coordination of events 
  • Compliance and policy adherence for campaigns with alliance partners
  • Own and manage the Marketing ROI dashboard reporting.
  • Lead management and reporting within Dynamics 365 – uploading and monitoring the lead pipeline with sales tracking, providing regular reporting to sales leads. 
  • CDF management and ROI tracking – Q/Q review of CDF campaign results ensuring the CDF funds are driving the correct ROI. 
  • Development and maintenance of the Marketing Content Calendar for both Channel and Mid-Market communications and events – liaising with other segments to align activities 
  • Management and updates of Lenovo Partner Hub Content – including continual maintenance of the Asset Library providing updated co-marketing assets to Partners.
  • Ongoing CRM market segmentation and identification development marketing purposes
  • Webinar calendar and event management – sourcing presenters, driving registrations and attendance, executing the live webinar and post event comms. 
  • PO and POE creation for activities/campaigns being managed by marketing assistant.
  • Marketing support to sales as required eg distribution of merchandise, pull-up banners, printing of collateral, social post/ email signature creation
  • Copywriting abilities including event/webinar invites, monthly/quarterly newsletters, partner hub eDM updates and more 
  • Organisation of giveaways

This role has responsibility for supporting the Enterprise and SMB  marketing and communication activity which supports driving revenue through new sales and retention activity, and developing the Lenovo brand.


Candidate Pre-Requisites:

  • Experience building integrated online campaigns.
  • Knowledge of best practices in B2B demand generation, marketing automation and lead nurturing
  • Knowledge with segmenting customers with RAD differentiated marketing plans and strategies
  • Knowledge of/with Marketing Automation Platforms and CRM Tools
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work cross-functional & internationally
  • Deep technical skills are not required but an affinity to and passion for technology is essential
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organised, used to working under pressure and tight timelines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management
  • Strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine program effectiveness, ROI, etc.
  • Good knowledge of PC technology and associated market trends.
