In the Consumer PC category, Lenovo is one of the Top 3 brands in the country with close to 20%+ market share across laptops and desktop AIOs. Lenovo brand is one of the strongest and reputed technology brands in India and enjoys very high levels of awareness and consideration. Lenovo computing devices are widely distributed and known for their breakthrough innovation and outstanding value.

The Consumer Marketing - Lead– Consumer PC and Tablet will be responsible for brand growth that enables our business trajectory and ambition. In the Consumer PC segment, s/he needs to demonstrate growth and impact in the following areas:

  • Strategic thinking and planning – Design and deploy robust annual and quarterly marketing plan keeping the category, consumer and channel objectives in cognizance
  • Nurturing the Lenovo brand and its presence in key segments – Create a comprehensive marketing mix that addresses long term goals to build a distinctive brand and short-term demand generation objectives.
  • Will have the responsibility to build compelling differentiation and distinctiveness for the brand portfolio in the marketplace across touchpoints – social media, advertising, retail experience and e-commerce.
  • Operational excellence and support to the consumer segment team – Set systems and processes to ensure on time, in full delivery of marketing plans, measurement of outcomes and timely communication with the HQ segment team and regional sales leaders. S/he also needs to manage joint marketing plans with top e-tail accounts – Flipkart, Amazon and Paytm through the team
  • Developing a cohesive team and grooming top talent for future growth – Coach and mentor team members for core functional skills, Lenovo leadership behaviors and build a succession plan for key marketing roles
  • The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer, Lenovo India and will work closely with the Executive Director, Consumer segment and Director, Tablet and Smart Devices. S/he will have an opportunity to work, learn and collaborate with the Global and Asia-Pacific marketing teams on a regular basis.

Education/ Qualification

Must Have: Management degree from one of the Top premier business schools in India

Work Experience

Must Have: 2007 batch, 13 years (1 year MT + 3-4 years of sales + at least 4-5 years of core marketing experience), Significant experience having worked in a Top FMCG/ Technology/ E-commerce company


At least 2006 batch, 14 years (1 year MT + 4-5 years of sales + at least 5-6 years of core marketing experience), Significant experience having worked in a Top FMCG/ Technology/ E-commerce company.
