Description and Requirements

The Insights Center of Excellence supports data driven Marketing through by empowering teams to make effective decisions through actionable insights.  The Customer Insights Analyst will ensure best practice research methodology and design to provide stakeholders with reliable, valid, and insightful information from our customers and the Industry.

The Customer Insights Analyst will support primary end user research using both quantitative and qualitative methods and drive a systematic process to engage with our Marketing and product teams to leverage insights throughout product development and Marketing process. The Customer Insights Analyst will have responsibility for day-to-day execution of Lenovo’s world class Brand Health Tracking system which includes insights for all customer types across Consumer and Commercial.   This role requires collaboration with a range of stakeholders across our teams based in many global locations, including India, China, Europe, Latin America and USA.  The right candidate must be skilled in setting up processes and standards, and driving their implementation, while also understanding how to best meet various stakeholder needs. The Customer Insights Analysts will be highly detail oriented, analytical and proactive.

  • Work as part of the global insights Center of Excellence to support various primary market research parojects
  • Ability to support large-scale, multi-country projects, navigating nuance of multiple cultures in a matrixed environment while working with Insights team members on overall strategic direction.
  • Previous market research experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including brand health tracking programs
  • Manage day-to-day research operations to support on time execution of studies and reporting 
  • Proven experience with survey questionnaire design and ability to write and/or edit surveys for complex topics
  • Knowledge of Marketing strategy and practices, such that the candidate can support Marketing stakeholders while understanding the common goal
  • An analytical mind, able to manage details but also see the big picture in order to tell the story
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to roll up sleeves and work through any issues that emerge.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Action oriented & results driven – can ‘make things happen’
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, MBA or other related Masters preferred
  • 6-8+ years experience from leading market research agencies or in-house marketing research role
  • PC/Technology Industry experience is a plus
