Planning Data Analyst will develop and provide significant business insights to support Geo Service Supply Chain to make better decision though data analytics and business intelligence. Be responsible for managing data, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

You'll partner with Geo Parts Operation in LA, helping to execute a business intelligence strategy that improves planning, meets requirements, and drives efficiencies through standardization and innovation. 


Key Accountabilities:

Facilitate data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation.

Drive reporting through the use of available technology (Tableau, Power BI, SAP) and develop technical solutions for an effective, efficient data analytics platform.

Identify and communicate parts planning risks and impacts through analysis, providing leaders with transparency, interpretations and solutions

Respond to complex ad-hoc data requests.

Ensure timely and accurate data models that provide management information and analysis of function performance (key performance indicators, metrics).

Conduct analyses of performance variables, data management, measurement and analytics, data design principles, concept and practices.

Develop, with colleagues, detailed understanding of the business, and offer mentorship or technical solutions, process and plan suggestions to solve business problems.

Independently solve complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience

Supply Chain background

Minimum of two years of related work experience

Experience recommending solutions or improvements to business processes

Experience in SAP ECC, MM

Strong data analysis capabilities with related data/statistical experience

Knowledge in Data analysis tools and algorithms

Proficient in English, speaking, reading and writing skills

Proficient in Office especially Excel, Database operation ability

Experience in Power BI and ETL 

Supply Chain, Statistics, Math, Computer science major will be preferred, Supply Chain working experience is preferred.
