Description and Requirements

Are you a passionate seller with experience in solutions selling? Have you worked with datacentre software and are you up for a new challenge?

In this role you will become a part of our Infrastructure Solutions Group and report to our UKI Solutions Sales Manager based in the UK. We are flexible about your location across the UK however ideally you are based around south of England.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Support aligned end user and channel sellers for all aspects of the Lenovo software portfolio including providing technical input into overall solution
  • Provide support with sellers into C-levels and lead conversations with key IT technical decision makers
  • Utilize a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospect, and act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners
  • Implement GTM plans against key software alliances whilst tracking year on year, quarter on quarter and week on week growth, growing the business in line with targets


What do we expect from you?

  • 5+ years of relevant customer facing solutions or software sales experience
  • Understanding how datacenter technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation skills
  • Successful track record of introducing new product(s) or offerings into the IT market, executing business development, ramping pipeline, and closing meaningful business
  • Successful track record of presenting and positioning HyperConvergence, Convergence and/or server virtualization offerings directly to end customers and via reseller channels
  • Experience with a subset of products from the following companies (Nutanix, Microsoft Azure HCI, Simplivity, NetApp, Dell EMC, VMware, VCE, Cisco, or similar companies)
  • Experience in working in disruptive technologies such as SDDC, SDS, HCI and AAS offerings would be an advantage
