Description and Requirements

The Director - Operations, Analytics & Enablement role will act as day-to-day manager for the NA, Latin American, and Brazilian operations, web analytics, financial management, and part enablement teams, setting KPIs, building a robust business management system (BMS) and working relentlessly on behalf of our customers.  It will also build the long-term strategic goals for the underlying platform, in an effort to create and guide the implementation of industry best practices in online purchase experience across the entire eCommerce sales channel.  This is an integral role in this growing team. This role requires a deft hand at understanding market dynamics, developing a vision, assessing gaps in industry standards, strategy adoption & implementation, and common day-to-day metric ownership for operations and enablement teams. The perfect candidate has strong attention to detail, a tenacity to solve problems, solid prioritization skills, and an enthusiastic personality. This role will manage our web partnerships, own the strategic vision & and drive the cadence for testing & learning. In conjunction with geo teams from across the globe, this role will develop new platform and measurement capabilities.

Operations/Resource Management
  • Managing and coordinating business and operational systems and processes that are in support of strategic goals
  • Have a bird’s-eye view across the business, to help balance business needs with resources and get ahead of what’s coming.
  • Overseeing, evaluating, and driving improvement of our Flash and SAP infrastructure.
  • Using cross-knowledge, understanding issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence the business, and connecting the dots to develop solutions
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing a team of multi-disciplined staff, defining priorities, and ensuring alignment of the team to the business and operations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business functions, external partners, and vendors
  • Planning, monitoring, and analyzing key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks and initiatives including but not limited to support of 4P, Merchandising, Routes to Market, CSB and SMB
  • Document and govern our process in managing our resources.
  • Interpret inputs and data such as project schedules to make prioritization decisions, in partnership with business.
  • Assess staff utilization and make resourcing recommendations to deliver against competing deadlines, including strategic projects, new business proposals, and internal goal work. All while ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality work, on time and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain contractor relationships and resourcing.

Financial Management
  • Support monthly billing reconciliation and audit forecasting data (such as project schedules and budgets) to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead retrospective analyses of project budgets and staffing, including actuals vs forecasts to help provide the most accurate estimates possible.
  • Review and approve contracts, Statements of Work budgets, and POs. Maintain all documents for historical reference. 
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual expense forecasts and assess to actual execution of expenses.
  • Monthly tie out with COE on business write-offs 

  • Develop an understanding and documentation of all various reports, metrics, and dashboards related to backend database table management, database table relationships, calculations, queries, dashboards, and visualizations, as needed. Consult and advise to facilitate continuous improvement.
  • Help lead implementation and data integration activities for program expansions while supporting and enhancing existing program components.
  • Lead & support team in analyzing data from surveys, generate insights and analysis, compile dashboards, scorecards, and reports. Advise on reports and data visualizations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Position Requirements:
As a recognized leader in post-purchase customer support, you have 
  • Deep, experiential knowledge of eCommerce platform strategies and tactics 
  • Adept at guiding the team with a focus on meaningful & measurable (quantitative) performance metrics 
  • Understanding of best practices across both direct industry analogs and world-class leaders in adjacent industries.  
  • Able to deliver against multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, and entrepreneurial environment
Basic Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years leading operational organizations with demonstrable advancement
  • 3+ years developing strategic initiatives across large organizations
  • 7+ years of experience in business operations and strategy
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Process-oriented
  • Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other eCommerce measurement tools
  • E-commerce experience with consumer electronics, FMCG, or durables
  • You’re part teacher, ninja, coach, and ringmaster
  • B2B, SaaS, software, services experience especially in tech industry is highly desired and preferred.
  • Experience in the tech industry is highly preferred.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated.
  • Willing to be flexible and adapt to changing requirements when needed
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaborative experience in teaming with Sales to drive results
  • Thrives working in a fast-paced, global environment
