Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) provides end-to-end IT solutions and services for organizations at any scale.  We empower our customers to dramatically accelerate their organizations, improve their industries, and solve humanity’s greatest challenges.  A trusted partner every step of the way, we provide reliable infrastructure and support with Smarter Infrastructure Solutions, Cloud Computing, Analytics and AI, As-A-Service, Edge Computing, and more. 

The Director of this team is responsible for:

  • Establishing goals, manage activities, and track progress to exceed goals for Global ISG Sales Learning and Development
  • Working with sales leadership to develop, execute, optimize, and assess enablement program
  • Ensuring Lenovo professional certification programs and offerings align to Lenovo’s channel tiering/rewards programs 
  • Managing an organization of 30 geographically dispersed and global training professionals
  • Developing an annual global training strategy and budget
  • Identifying and establishing critical business relationships to understand and align to critical business objectives and associated training requirements 

The Sales Learning and Development team’s core responsibilities include: 

  • Developing necessary training program for Lenovo internal sales team members as well Lenovo external business partners and system integrators including skills development and Lenovo professional certification programs. 
  • Developing Lenovo product & solution-oriented courses & curricula, including launch-related programs
  • Ownership and content curation for Lenovo’s social & mobile learning platforms
  • Assessing the training requirements/needs associated with: (1) Lenovo product & solution launches; (2) knowledge and skill gaps of Lenovo internal and external sales teams; and (3) Lenovo ISG strategic business objectives & goals

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • 10+ years of corporate training experience
  • Experience in sales enablement, revenue-facing roles, sales training, or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies in each of these areas
  • Thorough understanding of learning development, delivery, and hosting platforms (e.g., learning management systems, development tools/software, design/delivery modalities, etc.)
  • Practical experience and understanding of various multimedia & eLearning tools (e.g., HTML5, Captivate, Brainshark, Camtasia, Storyline, etc.)
  • Superior ability to build relationships, cross-functional partnerships and gain executive buy-in
  • Must be a results-driven leader and team player
  • Up to 10% travel globally
  • Must be in the Eastern or Central time zone

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Sales enablement experience within IT Infrastructure or Data Center market.
  • Master's degree in related field preferred (Adult Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Corporate Training & Development or equivalent)
  • Experience in the design, development, and delivery of training programs
  • Team management experience
