The E-commerce Strategy, Planning and Operations Manager is a critical and integral role for the Lenovo ANZ Ecommerce business. This role will be responsible for driving the innovation engine to fuel the growth of the business. Key focus on supporting long term strategy and short-term tactical plans to deliver financial goals.

  1. Support and drive the end-to-end Lenovo Ecommerce business both B2C and B2B in partnership with the Ecommerce director for Australia and New Zealand
  2. Understand the competitive dynamics of the industry to align growth plans to identify growth opportunities
  3. Accountable for the offshore post sales operations to make sure key KPI’s are met and drive best in class customer experience. Redesign and orchestrate process improvements as and when required
  4. Own the infrastructure roadmap of the ecommerce platform in partnership with global IT and Ecommerce teams building business cases for potential investments if required for Australia and New Zealand sites
  5. Responsible for quarterly planning working across the product, marketing, and sales teams to ensure plans are well aligned and detailed to drive the required financial outcome
  6. Drive data-based decision making within the ecommerce team working with global and local analytics team, be the owner of data in the business supported by specialist data analyst teams
  7. Responsible for commercial management including commercial negotiations of outsourced agency contracts to align with business outcomes
  8. Drive innovation in launching new products and solutions to target diversification of portfolio and revenue streams
  9. Act as a proxy to the Director of ecommerce in decision making and executive interactions at local, Asia Pacific and WW level
  10. Along with the Director of Ecommerce run the weekly business review meetings to highlight potential improvement areas and key focus areas.
  11. Act as the UX/CX lead to drive continuous improvement, building action plans and ensuring follow through
  12. Support drive the B2B sales process partnering with sales lead to increase market share and drive an account-based management
  13. Work with broader Lenovo segment and functional teams to collaborate and be the voice of Ecommerce as a route to market


Requirements: 

  • Strong experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environment in an IT hardware manufacturer.
  • Very strong data-based decision making, collating unstructured data to make commercial decisions
  • Ability to build long term strategic plans along with coming up with short term tactical actions to deliver on revenue targets
  • Commercially astute to lead discussions with vendors and partners
  • Experienced in bringing new products, solutions and services and drive the launch and go to market strategy from a back-end integration and alignment with marketing.
  • Experienced in managing geographically dispersed stakeholders and specialized teams
  • Experience in managing a team would be a plus

Required skills & experience:

  • In-depth understanding of a B2C and B2B business via digital commerce
  • Advanced in excel and power point
  • Collaboration across functional teams
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Advanced management (MBA) degree preferred
  • Results driven with an analytical mindset
  • Experienced in ecommerce analytical tools like Adobe analytics
