Position Overview 

The Business Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment across Europe and META regions. This role partners closely with market, regional and global teams to deliver on annual and mid-range business objectives, leveraging data-driven insights, market intelligence, and innovative business practices. 



What you will do:

Strategic Planning & Execution 
  • Support Europe and META leaders on annual and quarterly business plans 
  • Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of business priorities to achieve revenue and profitability targets. 
  • Analyze multi-horizon planning cycles (18+ months, 6–12 months, <6 months) to ensure WW & Europe and META alignment on business agility and long-term growth. 

Business Performance Management 
  • Support market level bids for investment management  
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance at segment, regional and market levels, providing actionable insights to leadership. 
  • Drive in-quarter performance management, corrective actions, and strategic investment pipeline execution. 
  • Support Europe and META leaders quarterly business reviews and ensure pipeline hygiene with demand planning and sales teams. 

Growth & Innovation 
  • Identify new business opportunities, including core product sales, category adjacencies, and new solutions and provide insight to Europe and META & WW leadership 
  • Drive innovation by integrating new WW technologies and business models to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage. 

Market & Segment Analysis 
  • Assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy and drive business growth. 
  • Respond rapidly to urgent requests for market intelligence, competitor actions, and business health indicators. 

Cross-Functional Leadership 
  • Collaborate with Europe and META business units, product, operations, and partner teams to deliver cross-business strategic priorities. 
  • Foster alignment, communication, and partnership across diverse teams and geographies. 
  • Own and deliver worldwide projects designed to achieve strategic goals and efficiencies.

Risk Management & Continuous Improvement 
  • Support implementation of risk management strategies to mitigate potential business risks. 
  • Support continuous improvement of the Europe and META business model against agreed commercial outcomes and targets. 


What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in business operations, strategy, or management within the technology sector. 
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and business performance management. 
  • Experience in end-user sales environments, including direct and indirect channel models. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and decision-making. 
  • Proficiency in business software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM systems). 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus. 
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders. 
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization. 
  • Willingness to travel within EMEA as required.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €50800–74470 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations. 

Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process. 

In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities. 

For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
