You will be a member of the EMEA Global Logistics team within the ISG Logistics organization based in Bratislava, Slovakia. You will be responsible for EMEA Destination Logistics specializing in White Glove deliveries (mainly for special, oversized cargo), management of complex delivery projects , and will work with our Logistics Providers, Sales teams and internal Supply Chain teams on daily operations to support deliveries of all Lenovo products to our Business Partners and Customers. The successful candidate will work with our Logistics Providers (3PL), to manage shipments via airfreight, ocean freight, truck/multi modal, to meet our Service level and Cost Targets, while continually optimizing and improving our Logistics network.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

Request and Analyze Site Audits to understand the End Customer Needs and request quotes from nominated providers
Ensure monitoring reports are generated and reviewed timely/accurately
Support the facilitation of Expedite and Critical export/import shipments
Act as the Communication Point between Provider for all internal Customers e.g. production, sales, customer fulfillment etc. at all levels (Ops, Managers, Exec’s etc) on a daily basis to ensure orders are correct and shipped properly within established criteria
Maintain pro-active communication with International Providers and with the Carrier Logistics Manager
Maintaining pro-active communication with direct line Manager and be able to provide clear and concise feedback for escalation
Assess efficiency of Expedite request and suggest other options that will meet internal customer needs
Provide and Participate in Logistics Cost Saving Solutioning (especially in the Expedite, Critical Shipments and White Glove Logistics Process)
Gain and Use Insight – Seeks to understand customers (internal and external) and/or service providers and the market and apply insights to achieve business results
Drives Innovation – Formulates innovative ideas and approaches to processes, systems or services; seeks and implements opportunities to improve, streamline or re-invent work processes; tries different and creative ways to deal with issues and opportunities
Build Value-Based Relationships – Identifies and cultivates internal and external alliances that lead to successful outcomes for the organization and its customers and suppliers; positions the organization for future success by identifying new opportunities through relationships.
Provide logistics pricing and network support to the Sales / Account / CF teams on RFQ / RFP / RFI activity

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years equivalent experience required within a similar logistics role
• Excellent written and spoken English 
• Experience in a fast moving logistics operations environment
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• MS Office, Excel advanced

Note valid for Slovakia only: Base gross monthly salary from minimum 1250 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
