Description and Requirements

As EMEA SSG Market and Competitive Strategist you will be responsible for conducting competitive research on behalf of the EMEA Services sales business units. You will identify important trends, and propose strategies for the business units to respond, as well as monitor the activities of competitors and proactively report on important developments in the EMEA and worldwide markets. You will be an expert on competitive landscape in area of the PC Services, such as warranty upgrades and extensions, managed services, configuration and customization services, lifecycle services and an advisor to the senior leadership team and the product management team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor strategic activities and trends, and identify those of importance to our business
  • Be the “go-to” source for market information for PC Services
  • Publish deep-dive analysis of quarterly share results in all related categories
  • Perform regular pricing competitive reviews
  • Suggest new Services solutions to be developed or adjustments to existing portfolio
  • Create dashboards and other Business Intelligence tools as needed to track our competitive position in the market

You will report to Senior Manager, EMEA Services based in Bratislava and will closely collaborate with the EMEA Services sales teams.

 

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Personal Computing industry, Services knowledge is mandatory
  • Expertise in critically reviewing & summarizing findings, and translating to recommendations for upper level management
  • Experience evaluating business trends and assessing market conditions
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the areas/actions that impact profitability
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Project Management skills
