Description and Requirements

As part of the EMEA Services Marketing Team, the Channel & SMB Services Marketing Sr Specialist will be responsible for the Channel & SMB Marketing of our expanding Services portfolio to and through our Distributors, Channel Partners and SMB in EMEA.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to take initiative and provide leadership in a growing business across local and International markets. You will need to have a successful track record of marketing services and solutions that ideally enable or enhance a Services sale, or hardware sales. You will champion the innovative power of our Services Proposition to the Channel Partners and the SMB space.

The role includes cross-unit interaction and cooperation with various teams and stakeholders, including but not solely the EMEA Services Marketing Team, EMEA Services Channel & SMB Sales Team, the EMEA Commercial Marketing Team, the EMEA Services Product Team. It covers both, digital/social and traditional marketing.

You will be reporting to the Head of EMEA Services Marketing based in Austria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and execute an effective Marketing strategy to achieve sales goals for SMB & Channel to meet sales objectives
  • Develop and manage quarterly marketing planning cycles for Distribution, SMB and Channel
  • Interact with relevant communications, marketing, and sales teams in other BUs for maximum integration of offerings in their campaigns and communication
  • Delivery of the quarterly marketing planning cycles with regional & local marketing teams.
  • Cooperate closely with markets and ensure local integration of messaging and execution of campaigns
  • Launch and promote internally and externally Services offerings in EMEA
  • External: Develop and localize traditional, digital and social assets, communication and campaigns for relevant target groups, with a high focus on Channel communication and Co-Marketing activities. Own external communication sources for dedicated offerings and segment (landing pages, eCommerce, etc.)
  • Internal: Ensure internal x-BU education and enablement for dedicated offerings. Own inernal communication sources for dedicated offerings and segment (sharepoint, newsletters, group meetings, etc.)
  • Develop relationships and serve as a trusted consultant to Lenovo Services EMEA, regional SMB & Channel Teams
  • Understand and adapt to Lenovo’s ongoing Services developments
  • Ensure that our Distribution SMB & Channel Partners receive world-class marketing and customer service
  • Participate in team and x-BU projects

Job requirements & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • 5+ years of successful SMB & Channels Channel Marketing experience in IT Industry either at vendor or distributor side, ideally with Services experience is required
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance in Global or Regional IT Channel position
  • In depth knowledge of “modern marketing techniques” and tools
  • Strategic mindset and sound business acumen are required, along with effective decision making, and marketing management skills
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written, and strong presentation skills
  • Strong prioritization skills, attention to detail, commitment to deadlines
  • Proven ability to operate with a high level of professionalism, entrepreneurialism and agility
  • Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization with a teaming attitude
