Description and Requirements

The Education Business Development Specialist for Mexico & CAC is a strategic role responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing high-impact partnerships within the K-12, Higher Education, and Public Sector ecosystems.

Its mission is to drive revenue growth by aligning Lenovo’s Smart Education solutions and an extensive Lenovo ecosystem with the digital transformation goals of schools, universities, and government education departments.

The Education BDM will be the primary technical and commercial evangelist, conducting deep-dive demonstrations of Lenovo's integrated hardware + software + services stack to high-level stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a territory plan to expand Lenovo’s footprint in Higher Ed and Public Education.

  • Solution Evangelism: Lead technical "deep-dive" demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) of Lenovo integrated stack for Deans, IT Directors, and Government Project Managers.

  • Public Sector Mastery: Navigate complex Government RFP/RFI (tenders) processes, ensuring Lenovo’s specialized education value proposition is the preferred choice.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build long-term "Trusted Advisor" relationships with key decision-makers in the regional education ministry and university rectories.

Requeriments: 
  • Proven  sales experience in educational accounts (mandatory)
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize
  • Proficient English Level
