Description and Requirements

Role Overview

This role provides on-site technical support for a Business Impact Area (BIA) environment, supporting mission-critical users, including VIP stakeholders.

The position is focused on delivering high-quality support for trading desk environments and financial market applications, ensuring minimal disruption and rapid resolution of issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical support for VIP users and business-critical environments
  • Manage and resolve assigned support tickets, ensuring all actions are accurately recorded in ITSM systems
  • Handle and coordinate ticket requests, including those received through messaging platforms
  • Support configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance of market data systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Dealing, Agência Estado, BMF)
  • Plan and execute hardware setup, relocation, and upgrades for trading desks and financial applications
  • Provide rapid response and resolution for system outages affecting trading environments
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for end users
  • Support both proprietary and commercial systems
  • Install and maintain monitor setups, including suspended mounts and workstation configurations
  • Execute equipment relocation across locations and floors as required
  • Perform hardware break/fix support as needed

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid technical knowledge of hardware and software support technologies
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving intermediate-level technical issues
  • Understanding of operational workflows and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Ability to produce clear and detailed technical documentation
  • Familiarity with trading desk tools and financial market systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, Broadcast, Dealing, Agência Estado, BMF)

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience:
    2–5 years of experience in an IT support role, such as Field Services or On-site Support, within enterprise or outsourced environments

  • Education:
    Undergraduate degree in an IT-related discipline or technical high school education supplemented with relevant IT certifications
