Description and Requirements

Lenovo is currently seeking a Finance and Planning Analyst to join our Worldwide Finance Team under Lenovo’s Services and Solutions Group. This position will work closely with the Industry Solutions leaders to prepare comprehensive positioning, strategy and financial advice. The position requires outstanding analytical skills, business acumen and a deep understanding of value generation. It also requires outstanding communication skills and the ability to create and deliver presentations to senior executives and others. Lenovo is bigger and stronger than ever. Position Responsibilities for Education Solutions FP&A

 • Partner with the Education Solutions Leader to drive visibility into the vertical business performance by providing financial guidance, developing insights and delivering solutions that will help achieve our financial goals. 
• Drive actionable analyses and recommendations for business opportunities and investments prioritization.
• Perform Vertical’s key financial activities: Analyzing current and past financial data and performance. Providing financial models and forecasting. Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations. Controlling Operating expenditure. Exploring investment opportunities and evaluating profit plans. ISU Consolidation Activities
 • Partner with ISU’s Center of Excellence leaders to drive cost efficiencies, provide financial direction and help them drive their operating expenditure budget.
• Perform ISU’s monthly consolidation activities and serve as team focal to HQ Finance. 
• Support the preparation of monthly executive materials for ISU’s Senior Leadership Team.

 Position Requirements 
▪ Bachelor’s degree in finance or relevant field strongly preferred. 
▪ Minimum 5 years’ experience working in financial areas. 
▪ Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems independently. 
▪ Strong communication skills, capable of explaining concepts concisely and accurately. 
▪ Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with Team Leaders. 
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to drive complex operational initiatives.
