Description and Requirements

Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our engagement with key public sector institutions in Brazil. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in public sector sales, a deep understanding of technology solutions, and a strong commitment to ethical business practices. This role is critical in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring our solutions meet the unique needs of government agencies and educational institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within public sector organizations.
  • Strategic Sales: Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand our market share in the public sector.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to our company's compliance policies and Brazilian public procurement laws (e.g., Lei de Licitações).
  • Partner Collaboration: Work closely with channel partners to drive sales and deliver comprehensive solutions to public sector clients.
  • Technical Acumen: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our technology portfolio (hardware, software, services) and its applicability to public sector challenges.
  • Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both our company and our clients.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of public sector trends, policies, and technology needs, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of proven success in account management or sales within the Brazilian public sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, technology, public administration, or a related field.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Brazilian public procurement laws and regulations.
  • Compliance Mindset: Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and Intermediate English.
  • Political Acumen: Ability to navigate complex public sector environments and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Results-Oriented: Highly motivated, self-directed, and focused on exceeding sales targets.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with CRM systems (D365, etc.)
  • Existing network within the Brazilian public sector
  • Technical certifications relevant to our technology solutions
