■Job Description

・As a sales representative and account manager for a major Japanese global company (equivalent to the Fortune 500), you will be responsible for Japan and target regions (North America, South America, Europe, Asia, etc.), you will lead the growth of your business with your customers. 

・Under Lenovo's mission of Smarter technology for all, you will drive, and be responsible for, business growth across Lenovo's entire portfolio of products and services offered to its corporate customers.

・You will run a series of PDCAs that share vision, strategies, develop plans, take actions, and review results and areas of improvement with each local sales member of the target region, including Japan. 

・Through sales activities for the customer's IT department and business division, you will gain a deep understanding of the issues and plans that the customers are considering, make optimal proposals for them, and build a win-win relationship that grows together with the customer. 

・You will build good relationships with the C-level and management level of your customers. 

・You will create projects necessary to achieve the operating budget given by the company, manage projects, take measures against shortages, and implement a close plan for important projects. Important control indicators for budgets are sales revenue, profits, and sales units (PC only).

・Working together as an account team (Local Account Manager), ISR (In-house Sales), Data Center Solutions and each person in sales

・Global Business Division Personnel in Japan and overseas

・Product Division, Service Sales, Global Project Manager, Profit Manager, Business Development Manager

・Director, Senior Manager, Global Operations Division, Japan

・Customer and partner stakeholders


■Must Have – essential


・More than 7 years of sales experience in the IT industry

【Skill, Competency】

・Experience in high-touch sales to end users (indirect commercial distribution is possible)

・Ability to build, maintain, and develop medium- to long-term relationships with customers

・Native-level Japanese

・Have leadership qualities and proactiveness in taking up new initiatives

・Team player with exemplary overall behavior and good behavior specially towards subordinates/ junior sales reps

・Positive and cheerful personality, eager to learn various things, un-willingness to give up even in difficult times, and be active & passionate towards work & responsibilities

■Good to have - desirable


・More than 5 years of sales experience in the IT hardware or IT software industry

【Skill, Competency】

・Business level English

・Experience and knowledge of PC, Server, Storage and related services and solutions

・New sales/ Acquisition sales experience

・Experience in creating medium- to long-term account planning and business planning

・Experience in people management

・Experience working abroad

・Experience in selling into Large companies
