Description and Requirements

  • The role will manage a team of Global account managers across EMEA. The team is responsible for the revenues obtained from a group of strategic accounts in Pharma and Health Tech industry that either principally headquartered or having key regional operations in EMEA.   
  • Concentrates on managing the team to establish short- and long-term account development plans for the designated global accounts with a particular emphasis on exploiting further the range of new product-offerings that the company now offers in Services & Solutions.  There is a particular focus on furthering sales of solutions that include offers from our Infrastructure Solutions Group (e.g., ThinkAgile portfolio of software-defined infrastructure; ThinkSystem portfolio of enterprise infrastructure; engineered solutions designed for specific workloads including artificial intelligence, VDI, and big data; edge and cloud computing, analytics and artificial intelligence, Infrastructure-As-a-Service, etc.).
  • Focuses on and encourages/facilitates the development and enhancement of a solution-oriented sales approach that can be adopted by, and customized for, the specific need of each individual account. Must be able to add gravitas in client situations and present on various topics, including the strengths of Lenovo’s product portfolio and explaining/maximizing the value of that product offering to the customer

  • Position Requirements:

    Must have an entrepreneurial approach that is imaginative, smart, passionate, mentoring, and approachable. Takes real ownership of achieving both team and individual account targets and adds value to account management approaches/strategies to enable success.
    - Sits on the WW Pharma and Health Tech Vertical Leadership & EMEA Global Account Business management teams.  Must demonstrate a high-level capacity for teamwork and manage the close collaboration with extended organizations.
    - Will possess strong communication and presentation skills and have the ability to build strong customer relationships, especially at CXO levels within client organization
    - Comfortable to work with Alliance partners, Business Partners and Global System Integrators especially in selling and delivering complex solution
    - Will coach, mentor and help develop the professional skill-base of individual team members and encourage a co-operative and successful working environment
    - Will maintain strong operational control of their own business area to ensure that targeted revenue numbers are delivered for each individual account and there are no surprises
