GA SOS Team Leader

Lenovo’s Global Account’s segment roughly align with the Fortune 500 list, and we have Microsoft, SAP, IBM, Bayer, Coca Cola and Toyota among our loyal customers. They have global capabilities requirements, and carry out businesses in multiple geographies, with employee presence worldwide. The Global Account’s segment provides customers with unique treatment, specialized Account teams and additional dedicated teams around the world providing consistent customer coverage and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

We are looking for an individual that will be able to lead one of the teams providing such assistance, understanding, and balancing different needs that arise, providing guidance to the team as needed. Job Summary:

The SOS Team Leader will report directly to the SOS Manager and lead a team of Sales Operations Support Specialists who provide back-end operational support to Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) within the Global Accounts organization.  The candidate will lead and align the team to perform day to day activities, making sure SLAs are met and providing guidance as needed. The candidate will need to have deep E2E knowledge of internal operational processes and understanding of business needs.

As the leader of the SOS team, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Report to the SOS Manager, providing assistance and support as needed
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the SOS team, prioritizing and reorganizing as needed
  • Monitor team performance and report to the SOS Manager on metrics for team’s and individual performance
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Motivate team members and maintain an open communication culture
  • Escalate issues that require urgent attention and/or have large impact in the business.
  • Provide appropriate feedback in a timely manner to team members
  • Drive innovative solutions for new and historical gaps in systems and processes.

Position requirements:

Minimum Requirements:
- BS or BA degree or equivalent professional work experience
- 3+ years’ experience in business operations and strategy/ leadership and/or management required
- Fluency in English is a must
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must

Preferred Qualifications:
- PC Industry/IT Hardware sales/sales support preferred
- Coaching and mentoring skills highly desired
- Project Management skills are highly valued
