No matter what team you’re a part of, joining us you can create real impact. Come & join our international team. Lenovo is seeking a Global Assurance Manager, reporting to the Senior Global Assurance Manager. 

You will be significantly involved in post-RFP procedures, driving global capabilities concerns and ensuring all resources are aligned to the client’s requirements. After bid submission, the Bid Manager remains involved through the presentation and negotiation stages, ensuring all lessons learned are fed back into the business. You will also ensure that contracts, approvals and supporting documents are stored in relevant systems & tools as required.

Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, governance, and processes and acting as an advisor during contract negotiations. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to achieve challenging deadlines. It requires strong customer facing skills, along with people management, commercial and legal skills.

These are your detailed responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end Bids & Contracts process to ensure best in class responses in timely manner

Matrix manage virtual teams and inputs from key stakeholders/Subject Matter Experts (SME), typically engaging with Sales, Services, Legal, Finance, Pricing/Profit, Brand and Product teams, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Project Management

Be a subject matter expert on the Company Global Program 

Understand and resolve complex business issues and customer requirements

Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all non-standard commitments are included in the final price to the customer. You will also draft contract language, redlining, negotiation and guidance to Sales and SMEs within parameters permitted by the BU

Run appropriate risk assessments and management. Manage and handle escalations efficiently when required

Contribute to the written proposal and contracts - both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around an executive summary or company standards)

Drive continuous improvement and excellence, through post-bid reviews, during contract negotiation, data collecting and updated databases

Collaborate with Customer procurement and legal teams in development, oversight and maintenance stages of relevant bids, contract templates, fallback and guidance in continually improving an efficient and effective customer experience

Position Requirements:  

Proven team leadership skills in virtual work environments

Excellent communicator and comfortable working at C / VP / ED Levels (within internals and externals)

Commercial & Legal understanding

Ability to manage complex, multi-workstream opportunities

Solid understanding of global capabilities and internal governance procedures

Focus on continuous improvement in bid/contracts practices and related tools to optimize the bid/contracts process

Ability to balance Customer requirements with Lenovo capabilities and business interests

Analysis, planning, project managing 

Ability to work in a dynamic, international, multi-cultural and multidisciplinary team

Negotiation skills and goals oriented

Team player – collaboration and teamwork are essential

Languages - English is a must. Other languages is a plus


Note valid for Slovakia only: Base gross monthly salary from minimum 2250 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings
