Description and Requirements

As a Product Line Manager for Parts Business for Lenovo’s SSG Group, you will be responsible for delivering the knowledge, tools, collateral, and programs for Upsell Services.   

 The Parts Product Line Manager will support and manage one or several service products from the inception to the phase-out in order to create customer value and deliver measurable business benefits. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as marketing, sales, finance, service delivery, IT and supply chain) in order to build a product offering that fulfills a product vision and to turn it into business success.  

 You will be also responsible for documenting, maintaining and communicating the product roadmap details.   

 Lenovo’s goal is to drive digital transformation for our customers in support of enhancing their digital experiences. The Product Line Manager will be a subject matter expert for systems and processes.   

 Success will require the ability to maintain open communication with all areas of the company. This person must be able to manage complexity, think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.   


  • 5+ years of product management and/or product development cycle from concept to introduction experience, preferably in the Consumer IT industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to think strategically but work tactically to get things done quickly
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Order Management (demand / supply alignment) Processes within ERP systems
  • Exceptional presentation skills, ability to create and design decks and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Self-directed with strong work ethic
  • Passionate about user experience; experience with website measurement and analytics.
  • Ability to work both tactically and strategically
  • Strong technical background, ability to dive into the technical details is required
  • Experience with user’s growth, email marketing and CRM systems
  • Adaptability and ability to quickly get up to speed with a deep understanding of IT systems - Oracle Service Cloud, SAP, Tableau, Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Motorola / Lenovo services is a plus

What will candidate do in this role?

  • Implement and enhance sales enablement functionality for the Parts Product line through all sales channels (eCommerce, SMB, B2B, and other distribution)
  • Create and maintain Parts Part number to hardware matrix throughout the lifecycle
  • Create and maintain pricing matrix for Parts across all channels and customer types globally
  • Ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition for the Upsell Parts portfolio across all geo
  • Support the launch of NPIs
  • Collaborate with Service Supply Chain to develop forecasting tools and methods, performance dashboards, and customer scorecards.
  • Develop and track marketing requirements and collaborate with Marketing Team to create product marketing content to support B2B Deals
  • Conduct competitive analysis to determine pricing strategy and product features.
  • Collaborate with Service Delivery, IT and other supporting teams to ensure the launch readiness per negotiated terms with customers
  • Manage 3rd Party supplier relationships as needed to deliver the Parts portfolio
  • Willingness and flexibility to work with global teams in different geos - NA, EMEA, LATAM, APEM
