Description and Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for project end-to-end management and delivery from product concept to launch for Motorola mobile or IoT products.

2. Define project scope, R&R, deliverables and success criteria with project core team and ODM. Align project objectives with Motorola strategic goals.

3. Lead, motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams including product, design, development, procurement, supply chain, quality, Go-To-Market, and related ODM teams to ensure effective collaboration and productive deliverables.

4. Conduct project core team meeting, track project executions, remove roadblocks, and ensure compliance with project schedule, budget and quality standards.

5. Manage project budget, facilitate R&D cost assessment, and negotiate with suppliers and partners about NRE cost and contract terms.

6. Identify potential risks, constraints and issues, and develop relevant mitigation plans. Lead core team to solve complex problems on time and within budget.

7. Provide project status updates, reports and presentations to senior management and executives for performance review and decision making. Escalate critical issues in time.

8. Lead and conduct phase gate review with core team for every key milestone to ensure deliverables meet schedule and quality standards.

9. Work closely with product manager to deliver competitive and profitable products, and drive products experience improvements based on development process and user feedback.

 

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Computer science, Business Administration, Management, or related field.

2. 5 years or above working experiences in smart phone, IoT or wearable products.

3. Familiarity with project management methodologies and skills. Excellent leadership, organization and time management skills. Having problem-solving, decision-making and risk management mindset.

4. Understanding of consumer electronics technology and trends. Having innovative spirit to break conventions.

5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet schedule and quality standards.

6. Fluency in English spoken and written. Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
