Description and Requirements

  • Manage multi-country marketing research studies (research brief, agency management, questionnaire design, analysis, concise reporting and presentations), which include but are not limited to global brand tracking, consumer online studies, KPI tracking/reporting, product concept evaluations, etc.– mostly quantitative, but some qualitative studies. 
  • Run all aspects of Motorola’s global buyer satisfaction program from operations, dashboarding, product/country summary reports, participating/running on-going meetings to share CSAT results.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to communicate results and insights, as well as track actions taken.
  • Serve as an advisor to internal working teams (marketing, product, strategy and sales) to determine research needs, interpret research findings and leverage insights in support of key business decisions.
  • Work with research agencies and internal business partners in designing and managing studies, including scope, budget and schedule.
  • Synthesize consumer insights on topical areas across studies to tell a compelling story.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of marketing research experience required
  • Master’s degree in marketing research/related field or MBA

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing both quantitative & qualitative studies
  • Multi-country/international research experience
  • Experience with customer satisfaction programs, brand tracking studies, conjoint methodologies, large-scale online studies preferred
  • Excellent research project management skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills – ability to translate clients’ business questions/needs into focused research studies
  • Strong communication skills – outstanding written, oral and presentation – concisely and effectively; ability to interact with senior leaders
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team with limited supervision
  • Both agency and client-side experience preferred
  • Previous telecommunications/mobile industry experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
