Description and Requirements

Join a dynamic company and become a part of our sales development team. We are seeking an experienced SDR to drive lead generation activities for our global sales team. Responsibilities focus on qualifying new leads and business opportunities for our in-region sellers. The role will include an additional focus on reporting and sales support. You will be the foundation of our biggest future worldwide deals!

As an SDR, you will manage all leads generated from marketing, web, and any outbound campaigns set by the Sales and Marketing teams. Your job is to clearly communicate with prospects, listen to their needs, and determine if they’re a good fit to move forward to our global sellers.

You will work closely with the sales team to identify key targets, maintain an up-to-date pipeline, and drive qualified leads as part of our sales organization. We are looking for an individual that is motivated, positive, and metrics-minded.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
Maintain effective time management skills to manage pipeline and drive a high volume of leads to partner teams
Own and accurately qualify leads by building relationships with key decision-makers identifying their needs and education issues
Transfer qualified leads to global team members for follow-up and sales presentation
Properly document all customer interactions in Salesforce.com
Overcome objectives and effectively communicate the value of Lenovo Software’s education products
Create strong relationships with the global sales teams and to become product experts and understand the correct teams to pass leads on to
Prioritize workload in order to meet all KPI’s, goals, and objectives

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience selling SaaS software
1-3 years of sales experience or sales development activities
1-3 years of experience in salesforce.com is required
Track record of success in a sales development
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Self-directed with enthusiasm for problem-solving
A passion for helping teachers use technology to create better learning environments
Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Background in education 
Multi-lingual- Spanish, French, Italian, German, Mandarin, Indonesian, or Korean a plus.
