Description and Requirements


  • Create a vision for effective content strategy, production, and management that powers digital marketing to drive growth for the WW eCommerce business
  • Define the organization structure, service framework, production model, operational workflows and processes, as well as the financial model to support business needs
  • Collaborate with segment teams to understand key segment audiences and their customer journeys to effectively reach and engage audiences with relevant content across product, promotional, and engagement needs
  • Direct a team of content strategists to develop clear and engaging content across our core segments consistent with the company’s brand image and addresses both business goals and end-user needs
  • Maintain overall responsibility for the creation, adjustment, and management of the editorial calendar
  • Collaborate with the global analytics team to measure content effectiveness, including the definition of key metrics and the creation of reporting dashboards
  • Lead and manage a team of global eCommerce content strategists and producers to be best-in-class and immersed in the business
  • Drive best practice sharing, standardization, and operational efficiency across the content strategy, production, distribution, and measurement process
  • Align with Corporate and BU marketing teams to establish style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content
  • Align with UX on best-in-class website templates to provide a positive user experience on .com (i.e. product, series, and brand pages)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field, with 10-15 years of experience in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field. MBA a plus.
  • Experience building content strategies and plans that successfully represent the brand and drive impactful storytelling across product, demand generation, and site content
  • Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, SEO and SEM
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and apply strategy
  • Knowledge of digital marketing trends and techniques, including channels, technology, and analytics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capability to determine content effectiveness, ROI, etc.
  • Previous and proven effective personnel management experience required
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Expert ability to deliver on multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and outstanding time management skills
  • Strong project management and process orientation
  • Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
  • Ability to write, present, and sell in a clear, powerful, and compelling way; be a great storyteller
  • Confident, likable, collaborative, passionate
  • Previous budget management experience
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • 10% travel
