Description and Requirements

Position Description

1.       Directly supports multiple Executive Directors/Directors within one or multiple business functions depending on the size of the organization.

2.       Contributes to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes

3.       Partners with finance, recruiting and managers to manage headcount within function.  Manages acquisition processes from HR perspective. 

4.       Implements performance management processes.  Drives low performer termination and top performer retention efforts throughout area of responsibility.

5.       Identifies employee compensation issues and recommends changes based on compensation guidelines.

6.       Partners with Directors on organizational structure and may recommend change. 

7.       Implement appropriate employee training and manage its delivery.

8.       Implements the roll out of global HR programs.  Participates in the design of programs and customizes communication for client groups.

9.       Builds the communication mechanism to provide feedback, coaching and information to management as well as contribute to employee engagement.

10.    Proactively identifies potential employee relation situations before they occur, is responsive to employee, manager and Sr. Leader issues and is available for consultation. Coaches and educates managers on resolving more sensitive employee relations issues. 

Qualification Requirements

1.       Bachelor degree or above, MBA or Masters preferred.

2.       Minimum 5 years’ experience in HRBP, HR specialist experience preferred.

3.       Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese Experience with MS Office Suite, HRIS.

4.       Strong ownership, earn trust of others, action oriented, deliver result and dive deep.

5.       A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the teams to ensure a high level of employee engagement.

6.       Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment.

7.       Success in creating and driving effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.

8.       A strong solution focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
