Description and Requirements
We are currently looking for an Iberia HR Specialist to support our local team responsible for Spain and Portugal.
You will cover a diverse set of tasks, combining business and corporate compliance with the mandatory local labor laws, and acts as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers, extended HR team, and external partners. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of the entire employee life cycle and solid knowledge of labor legislation. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures always run smoothly.

In this role, you will report to the HR Manager Iberia.
Your responsibilities:
- HR Advisor: contact and go-to-person for employees and managers for any HR related questions.
- Recruiting for selected positions in close collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team in Bratislava.
- Management of our local student programs.
- Management of various elements of the employee life cycle like contract creation, preparation of letters, compensation, performance cycle, onboarding, exit management, etc.
- Management of Workday recurrent changes and implementations during employees and organization's lifecycle (eg transfer, promotions, business dynamics).
- Responsible for HC reporting and other reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance of documents and human resources activities with the local labor legislation.
- Coach and educate employees and managers in HR topics.
- Develop and implement local policies, procedures, and processes in order to follow the local legislation and adhere to corporate guidelines and actively identify gaps and propose and implement the necessary changes in order to ensure local and global compliance.
- Be part of the company’s global HR projects and ensure proper implementation at the local level, such as employer branding, talent acquisition or talent development
- Act as the company’s representative in relation to external parties (fairs, local networks, vendors, or authorities) if required.
- Handle administrative tasks related to customization and deviations from the standard and Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects if necessary
- Create regular and on-demand internal analysis reports
- Actively collaborate and interact with local Leadership Team, HR Business Partners, HR Operations (Regional HR Services, Payroll, HRIS), and Corporate HR (Compensation, Benefits, Global Mobility)
- Operational support for the Iberia HR Manager

- You have a bachelor’s degree with vocational training with specialization in HR.
- Minimum 5 years of meaningful and proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist
- Have solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
- You have strong English skills, both in speaking and writing. Communicating in English will be part of your day-to-day job.
- Ability to work in a complex organization, with matrix and virtual structure
- You are used to working independently and are very strong in structuring your work to manage a variety of tasks and take decisions autonomously.
- Are excellent in planning, work organization, and decision making.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including giving presentations to a large audience
- Ability to build professional relationships with employees at all levels
- You are a superb team player.
- You are solutions and service oriented as well as flexible.
- Excel, PowerPoint as well as HR tools like Workday are well known to you.
