Description and Requirements
In this role, you will be part of a local team based in Ullo and directly report to the Supplier Quality Engineering Senior Manager.
In this position, you will:
- Manage Lenovo Server product incoming materials' quality performance including Mechanical, electronics, cable, thermal parts and CPU, Memory , SSD/HDD etc.,
- Provide technical support to WW SQE
- Collect defect information, do pre-failure analysis, communicate the analysis steps and short-term corrective actions, long term corrective actions with WW SQE and Lenovo site's engineering teams and procurement team
- Manage supplier 3rd party, work with supplier 3rd party for issue disposition including reworking/sorting, monitor issue handling status to ensure no impact to Lenovo production
- Regularly work with WW SQE on supplier quality performance review
- Work with the site quality team and WW SQE on defect judgment; communicate the defect/issue status with the site's cross-function teams as a representative of SQE
- Participate in the new product trial run in the Lenovo production line, discuss the defects and solutions with WW SQE
- Monitor EC parts implementation and performance on site
- Participate in the MRB material disposition with Lenovo site buyers and suppliers
- Bachelor or above, more than 2 years of working experience in mechanical or electronics engineering or manufacturing
- Be fluent in English and Hungarian
- Have quality knowledge ISO9001, understand the quality issue handling process like reworking/sorting, 8D report
- Be capable of issue fixing
- Good knowledge of quality systems, ISO9000 etc
- Good team working skills, and excellent communication skills
- Working experience in computer/server chassis manufactory is preferred
- Strong technical and process skills in mechanical& electronics commodities are preferred
