Description and Requirements

Are you expert in IT infrastructures and solutions? Do you feel you can bring Lenovo to the next level of Smarter Solutions like AI, Block Chain, Cloud, Edge and IoT?

 

We are looking for  Technical Sales Manager who will join Infrastructure Solutions Group business in Lenovo ITALY. In this new role you will be responsible for managing a team of TechSellers. In the same time you will act as Chief Technology Officer and leader for ISG ITALY with the responsibility to promote AI, BlockChain, NextGen Technology Solutions at Italian market by elevating Lenovo to a known Solutions Provider in PA and ENT segments.

 

You will report to Country General Manager for Instructure Solution Group Italy. The role can be based in Milan or Rome office or operated remotely in Italy.

 

What more is waiting for you in this role?

  • Act as a Leader for Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group in Italy
  • Act as agent of change to bring Lenovo into the next level of Smarter Solutions like Artificial Intelligence, BlockChain, Cloud, Edge and IoT.
  • Support the Sales Team in proposing the right ISG solutions for the Client.
  • Work face to face with customers presenting Lenovo solutions to all levels of audience within a customer up to senior management
  • Maintain professional relationships at CXO level in our Clients and Business Partners.
  • Regularly interact with sales, perform trainings, give guidance & promote our solutions
  • represent Lenovo in public events, be a spokesperson, maintain relationships with Public Institutions, Research and Universities.
  • Be active on social media and digital platforms

 

What do we expect from you?

  • Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructures and solutions, particularly related to: 

    Data Center, Software Defined Solutions, Edge, IoT, Pay-per-use, Cloud,  Storage, Artificial Intelligence, HPC, BlockChain, VDI.

  • At least 10 years of experience in the IT industry with solid knowledge if the key IT ecosystem leaders.
  • At least 5 years of experience as People Manager, able to lead, develop and grow a team of technical talents across Italy.
  • Capability of acting with a consultative approach with our clients and Business Partners and manage the pre sales phases of the commercial relationship
  • Be available to travel in Italy up to 50% of the time (with the Covid19 Government restrictions)
  • Have strong background working within a high pressure sales organization in a similar capacity and be able to Demonstrate a strong commercial understanding to be successful in this role
