Description and Requirements

In 2021, Lenovo decided to create an International Sales Organization (ISO). Our sales organizations in markets around the world split into a China GEO and an International Sales Organization to drive greater synergies and efficiencies between business groups. This new change has further aligned our organization with our strategy and sharpened our execution.

We are seeking an exceptional Channel Account Manager to drive the entire Lenovo portfolio (Client, Data Center, Services) at Connection.   The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both the infrastructure and endpoint solutions market, possess excellent leadership skills, and understand “what it takes” to drive collaboration and results with Connection. Lenovo ISO (International Sales Organization) is currently hiring an ISO Channel Account Manager, Connection with experience owning strategy and execution within the channel.  

The successful candidate will work specifically with Connection and collaborate with Lenovo sales teams to drive revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction across Lenovo’s commercial IT portfolio into the market with Connection.  Lenovo is focused on high-growth and we are looking for a high-energy, strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to make a significant and immediate impact. This is a remote position with preference that the candidate live in the Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA area. 

The ISO Channel Account Manager, Connection will be responsible for:

  • Develop, implement and execute the overall Lenovo ISO strategy to drive profitable growth in partnership with Connection.
  • Exceed assigned revenue targets
  • Collaborating with a team of Channel Account Managers and Lenovo Sales Teams to create initiatives to drive Lenovo opportunities.
  • Building and fostering relationships internally and with Connection sellers to drive Lenovo preference
  • Participating in customer and/or partner calls as needed
  • Implementing solution based sales behavior and executing cross-sell strategies
  • Developing and owning sales pipeline and opportunities by territory
  • Conducting regular QBRs and maintain all action items to completion

Position Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience
  • 5+ Years with Sales including infrastructure or endpoint solutions and channel experience
  • Experience selling IT Client Solutions, Datacenter Solutions, Services & Software
  • Drive for business results and proven success in achieving revenue goals
  • Proven ability to develop strategies to create programmatic success in the market
  • Travel to any or all partner sites when necessary
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and inter-personal skills
  • 30% Travel to regional offices
