Earlier in 2021, Lenovo has unveiled in the press its new International Sales Organization to support our Global Channel Transformation including the 3S strategy and the One Lenovo mission! Within the ISO World Wide (WW) Channel Team we engage and collaborate with the Global partners and Lenovo Teams (Geos, local channel leads, GA team ) to define joined Go-To Market strategies and initiatives to drive our One Lenovo Business & Solutions. In The WW Channel Global System Integrators (GSI) team we are looking for a Global Customer Channel Solutions Architect, NA based to support, implement and deliver solutions on new business opportunities with SIs on a sell-through & sell-with motions. This role is key to deliver additional revenue and profitability to Lenovo.

The Global Customer Channel Solutions Architect will build relationships to better understand system integrators needs:

  • Build a Lenovo leadership position
  • Understand end customer demands and needs
  • Become a key contributor to the account, convince the customer of Lenovo ‘s value propositions and Leadership in specified areas
  • Build and maintain relationships to key customer technical and decision-making stakeholders
  • Understand critical Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and business case drivers addressing the customers financial KPIs and budget constraints
  • Understand the customers business and value propositions from a technology and TCO implementation angle
  • Be perceived as an expert in the field and influencer
  • Advise and propose customer projects

Build Winning Solutions according to those needs:

  • Understand relevant HW and SW stacks from FW to virtualization and orchestration layer
  • Have a good understanding of typical workloads to be able to build max. efficiency solutions
  • Propose and architect value adding solutions to address key customer needs with the objective to sell Lenovo platform solutions
  • Position One Lenovo solutions in all domains covered by SIs to achieve expected and proven efficiencies and advantages
  • Convert concepts and portfolio into sellable products and solutions (HW, SW, Services)
  • Shape a customer requirement-based portfolio view to secure a winning customer fit and respective propositions
  • Translate solutions into offerings for sales
  • Familiarity with key technology areas in both NT and IT to a sufficient level of detail
  • Orchestrate the technical customer engagement
  • Make winning technology and architecture choices by develop winning, competitive, and realizable concepts that are deliverable with an economy attached

  • Evangelize Lenovo technology as well as operational and efficiency benefits
  • Self-motivate and work across all areas of technology, close knowledge gaps through self-learning and stakeholder interaction on a fast-learning curve
  • Work with stakeholders from Group Technology & Innovation across all service and operational teams down to planning and implementation
  • Build and lead cross functional and cross organizational international teams to drive closure
  • Ability to prioritize what matters most

Expected Experience, Qualifications & Soft Skills:

  • At least 15 years of experience with System Integrators
  • Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent technical university degree from a Tier 1 university.
  • Demonstrated equivalent experience and proficiency will also be considered especially with IoT, edge devices, virtual augmented solutions.
  • 5G is a plus
  • Fluent in English both in demanding and defining technical as well as relationship conversations additional languages is a plus
  • Senior technical or technical-commercial leader
  • MBA or comparable economics degree is a plus
  • Experience in defining, planning, winning, and executing larger infrastructure projects
  • Strong execution ability
  • Strong collaborative spirit
  • Agility
The candidate is expected to live near SIS headquarters.
