Description and Requirements

The LeMES Level 2 (L2) Support Engineer provides advanced operational support, resolving incidents escalated from Level 1 and ensuring system stability. This role includes troubleshooting, monitoring, and recovery while ensuring compliance with ITSM and audit requirements. The role requires working with worldwide (WW) manufacturing plants and strong English communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents escalated from L1/L1.5 support
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues
  • Monitor system health, jobs, and integrations
  • Execute recovery actions (restart jobs, retry processes, manage queues)
  • Collaborate with worldwide plants and cross-regional teams (AMERICAS, EMEA, APAC)
  • Communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
  • Escalate issues to L3 when required with proper context
  • Raise change requests and contribute to KB/SOP improvements
  • Ensure all activities are tracked and audit compliant (ITSM tickets)
  • Identify and support implementation of AI
  • Scope & Responsibilities Boundaries (SoD)
  • Perform monitoring and operational troubleshooting
  • Execute support scripts and operational recovery

Job Requirements:

  • Major in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with MES systems (LeMES preferred)
  • Knowledge of ITSM processes and tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills
  • Advanced English (mandatory – written and spoken)
  • Ability to work in global, cross-functional teams
  • Some basic knowledge about AI (Eg.:ChatBots, Copilot, Claude,GPT) and RPA (Eg.:UIPath)
  • Willingness to learn further about AI and RPA, capable of leading initiatives in a Global environment
