We are looking for a Mid-to-Senior hands-on Automation Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience to develop and enhance automation solutions for complex hybrid infrastructure environments.

You will work on an established, continuously evolving automation platform, contributing across the full development lifecycle — from new feature development and improvements to troubleshooting and daily fixes. The role combines software development, infrastructure automation and modern DevOps practices.

We are looking for someone who goes beyond routine infrastructure operations: an engineer who can identify complex manual processes, design scalable automation solutions, and integrate different systems through Python, Ansible and APIs.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, including playbooks, roles and modules
  • Develop Python-based automation solutions, tooling and REST API integrations
  • Build, enhance and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar platforms
  • Develop new automation features and continuously improve existing functionality
  • Automate provisioning and management across virtualized and hybrid infrastructure environments
  • Manage automation workflows using AWX / Ansible Tower / Ansible Automation Platform
  • Build and maintain containerized solutions using Docker
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across automation workflows and integrations
  • Work with Linux/Unix environments and Bash scripting
  • Collaborate with engineering and customer-facing teams to automate complex infrastructure processes
  • Contribute to Kubernetes/cloud-native components where relevant

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Infrastructure Automation, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or a related field
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible in production environments
  • Strong Python development skills, particularly for automation, tooling and integrations
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and infrastructure concepts, with hands-on experience in VMware, OpenStack, public cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), or similar platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Docker
  • Strong Linux/Unix and Bash scripting skills
  • Experience integrating systems through REST APIs
  • Strong Git/version-control practices
  • Proven ability to independently identify and automate complex infrastructure workflows, beyond routine operational tasks
  • Experience working in enterprise or customer-facing production environments
