Description and Requirements

Are a sales person? Lenovo is looking for a passionate, articulate, and enthusiastic Acquisition Inside Account Manager (location: Essen or Stuttgart) for our key customers in Northern Germany to acquire and win large strategic net new accounts in the commercial sector in cooperation with assigned Key Account Manager.

This position reports to our Sales Manager Strategic Accounts and includes the following activities:

  • Providing proactive follow-up, product information and overall account support via the telephone and email 
  • Working closely with the Key Account Manager in the acquisition of new accounts
  • Assisting the Key Account Manager with customer requests and ongoing communication touchpoints that drive Customer Experience (CX) 
  • Acting as the PC specialist by working directly with the customer for configurations to ensure meeting needs of customer along with updates on status 
  • Pipeline accuracy and weekly cadence reporting of forecast and opportunity management to Key Account Manager for customer tracking and identifying and confirming ongoing sales needs 
  • Good communication skills and ability to influence customer decisions to close business
  • Leveraging the support of the technical sales team for complex configurations 
  • Driving pipeline accuracy and weekly cadence reporting of forecasting, opportunity management, customer tracking and identifying and confirming ongoing sales needs

Position Requirements

  • Previous experience aiding in acquisition sales in the technology field is highly preferred; proven successful sales experience and contracts knowledge 
  • Knowledge of the scope of Lenovo’s products and services 
  • High proficiency in executive level written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Previous experience with Dynamics 365, combined with strong Microsoft application skills 
  • An understanding of sales processes, techniques and tools and use them appropriately  
  • Ability to differentiate offerings and articulate the Lenovo value proposition against the competition, to ensure the best potential to win in sales opportunities
